NEC Partners with Commerce Department to Assist Local Businesses in Expanding Exports

BOSTON – The New England Council has entered into an agreement with the U.S. Department of Commerce that will assist the Council’s 400-plus members throughout New England in accessing foreign markets and increasing exports.  As a strategic partner to the U.S Commercial Service’s New Market Exporter Initiative (NMEI), New England Council members will have access to a wide range of Commerce Department resources and expertise.  This partnership is part of the Obama Administration’s initiative to promote American-made goods and services across the globe.

Brett, President & CEO of The New England Council. “The U.S. Commercial Service has a range of services and expertise that can help our members access foreign markets and grow their customer base, and we’re pleased to partner with them on this innovative initiative.”
