Quinsigamond Community College Launches Subscription-Based Learning Model
NEC Member Quinsigamond Community College (QCC) has launched a subscription-based learning program to allow students unfettered access to professional development training, taking place through the college’s Center for Workforce Development and Continuing Education.
The subscription platform will contain over 500 online class modules in 14 areas of advanced manufacturing. The courses will also contain Microsoft 365 online software services suite. Students will be able to choose between 30-day subscriptions up to an entire year.
“We are moving away from the one-size-fits-all approach and are allowing individuals to design a custom program that is best suited to their individual career goals,” said Kathleen Manning, Dean of the Center for Workforce Development and Continuing Education, in a press release. “This is a smarter approach in delivering professional development training to our workforce of the future.”
The New England Council congratulates Quinsigamond Community College on this innovation in postsecondary education. Read more from the Worcester Business Journal.
