New England Council Announces Selection of Six Non-profit Organizations for New Fellowship Program

The New England Council is pleased to announce the selection of six non-profit organizations – one in each New England state – to host a New England Council Fellow this summer.
Earlier this year, the Council announced the establishment of the New England Council Fellows program in recognition of our 100th Anniversary this year. Under this program, the Council will provide funding to non-profit organizations in the region to support the hiring of a summer intern to support their charitable mission.
Our Fellowship Advisory Committee comprised of 15 members of the Council’s Board of Directors has selected the following organizations to host NEC Fellows during the summer of 2025:
- Connecticut: Connecticut Foodshare
- Maine: Dempsey Centers for Quality Cancer Care
- Massachusetts: St. Mary’s Center for Women and Children
- New Hampshire: United South End Settlements’ Camp Hale
- Rhode Island: Pawtucket Central Falls Development
- Vermont: US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants
Please join us in congratulating these incredible organizations on their selection. We look forward to working with them throughout this inaugural year of our fellowship program.
