JetBlue expansion at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport possible, airline says
New England Council member, JetBlue announced that an expansion at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, also a New England Council member, is possible.
The airline announced that it would begin service to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and Fort Myers in Florida in January 2025. Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Partnerships, said the airline is “refocusing on where customers know and love the airline”— Florida and New England.
“What I do know is that we evaluated recently zip code data on where our TrueBlue members live and also where JetBlue cardholders are and there was a substantial number of them in the Manchester surrounding area,” said Jehn. “We’ve also had people from Manchester drive to Logan to fly in our Orlando services, as well as Fort Myers and Fort Lauderdale… so it just felt like a natural connection.”
The New England Council applauds JetBlue and Manchester-Boston Regional Airport for their steps toward making this expansion possible.
