Blue Cross Blue Shield celebrates 14th annual service day
Employees from New England Council member, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, will be volunteering in Lawrence in lieu of its 14th annual day of service. The annual event helps non-profits across the state connect with Blue Cross Blue Shield employees to participate in volunteer work.
“The total value of our financial and volunteer support has exceeded $11 million,” via a Blue Cross Blue Shield press release. “In addition to sending employee volunteers, our company provides each not-for-profit partner with a minimum $2,500 grant to cover the costs of each service project.” Blue Cross employees will volunteer to paint a playground in Lawrence.
