Christienne Bik of Shrewsbury is one of six leaders from the New England business community elected to serve on the board of directors of the New England Council, a non-partisan alliance of businesses, academic and health institutions, and public and private organizations.
Ms. Bik serves as the director of government relations at Fallon Health in Worcester. Before joining Fallon, Ms. Bik was an assistant district attorney in the Worcester district attorney’s office. Earlier in her career, she held various positions, including a lobbyist at O’Neill & Associates in Boston, a legislative assistant for U.S. Rep. James P. McGovern and a legislative aide for state Rep. Robert Spellane. Ms. Bik is a graduate of American University and received her law degree from Suffolk University Law School. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and the Worcester County Bar Association. She currently sits on the Boards of Directors at the YWCA of Central Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans and is a corporator at the EcoTarium.
The Council’s board of directors voted to elect the new directors at its recent meeting in Boston. The newly elected board of director members also include the John D. Keenan of Salem State University, Courtney B. Larkin of Travelers, Kevin M. McGovern of Deloitte, Robert F. Rivers of Eastern Bank and Graham Shalgian of Rasky Partners.
