Ayotte to Address New England Council at Castleton

The U.S. senator will be in town tomorrow morning.

The New England Council has invited U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) to a roundtable luncheon tomorrow at the Castleton Banquet & Conference Center.

The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 70 local business leaders are expected to attend.

The New England Council is the oldest regional business organization in the country.

The group is an alliance of business, academic and health institutions.

The organization hosted a similar congressional roundtable with U.S. Rep. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) at The Seaport Hotel in Boston last week.

The afternoon appearance is one of several that Ayotte has scheduled on Thursday.

She will being by addressing the Merrimack Rotary Club at 8 a.m. At 9 a.m., Ayotte will tour Elbit Systems, also located in Merrimack.

After speaking in Windham, Ayotte will tour FlexEnergy in Portsmouth at 3:15 p.m.
