Washington Leaders’ Conference Rescheduled for September 2020

We are pleased to announce the new date for The New England Council’s 2020 Washington Leaders’ Conference.  The conference was originally scheduled for May 2020, but postponed due to the COVID-19 public health crisis.  The new dates for the conference are Tuesday, September 22 & Wednesday, September 23, 2020.

While we were disappointed to have to postpone, it was necessary to ensure the health and safety of all involved, and we hope you’ll join us in September for two days of meetings and events in our nation’s Capital! The Washington Leaders’ Conference is an excellent opportunity to connect with members of Congress, their staffs, and other key federal policy leaders, as well as fellow NEC members.

The agenda this year will be similar to last year’s program, and the conference will begin with a Welcome Luncheon on Tuesday, September 22, followed by afternoon committee meetings.  That evening, we will gather for our Annual Capitol Hill Reception, followed by a Sponsored Dinner.  On Wednesday, September 23, we’ll start the day with a Congressional Breakfast, followed by additional committee meetings in the late morning and early afternoon.

Stay tuned for more details and the opening of registration in the coming weeks. We will also be working to secure some hotel room blocks for members and will share information as it is available.
