UMass Amherst Breaks Ground on New Business Innovation Hub
On September 16, 2016, state officials broke ground on a new Business Innovation Hub at NEC member UMass Amherst.
The $62 million project will add 70,000 square feet of classrooms, labs, student spaces, learning commons, and an expanded career center to the Isenberg School of Management. The first major project at the business school since a 2002 renovation, the development will be an expansion of the of original Isenberg building, creating a single unified campus for the school. Construction of the building is expected to be completed in September 2018 and the building will open for use in January 2019.
