Three more events added to April lineup

We’ve added three more events to an already busy April calendar!  In addition to events with Congressmen Cicilline and Himes, and a breakfast with filmmaker Ken Burns, we’re thrilled to also bring you the following events:

  • On April 15, join our Health Care Committee for a special breakfast with Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin.  Governor Shumlin will speak about health care reform efforts in Vermont, and in particular, efforts to implement a single payer system.
  • On April 19, we’ll host the Granite State’s two newly-elected Congressmen, Charlie Bass and Frank Guinta, at a special Congressional Roundtable Breakfast at the Bedford Village Inn.
  • On April 19, we’re delighted to welcome Dr. Howard Koh, the former MA Commissioner of Public Health, back to New England.  Now serving as the Assistant Secretary for Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Dr. Koh will speak at a breakfast at the Hampshire House.

As always, these events are free of charge for NEC members.  Email us at necouncil@newenglandcouncil.com to register.
