The Castle Group’s Sandy Lish Inducted into the Women’s Business Enterprise Hall of Fame
NEC member The Castle Group’s Co-Founder and Principal, Sandy Lish, was recently inducted into the Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) Hall of Fame. She was also presented with the Trailblazer Award, honoring her consistent advocacy for women in business, bringing to the forefront the achievements that she has made as an individual and as a co-founder of The Castle Group, a women-owned business.
The Women’s Business Enterprise Hall of Fame is now in its 10th year of recognizing and celebrating women-owned businesses and their successes. This year, they inducted nine individuals and organizations that have paved the way in women’s business development. The induction ceremony was hosted by the American Institute of Diversity & Commerce on November 27, 2018, in Irving, Texas.
Upon receiving the award, Lish said, “I’m honored to be recognized by the American Institute of Diversity and Commerce, acknowledging the results my partner, Wendy Spivak, and I have established over the past 22 years. I don’t spend every day consciously thinking about what it means to be a ‘woman in business’ but, every day, my being both a woman and businessperson colors what I do, and why and how I do it.”
The NEC congratulates Sandy on this incredible honor, and thanks her for her sustained commitment to bolstering female leadership within our workforce.
