The Autodesk Foundation Collaborates on New ‘Automation and a Changing Economy’ Report

NEC member the Autodesk, Inc. has partnered with the Aspen Institute to fund a new report on Automation and a Changing Economy. Outlining more than 20 policy recommendations, the report highlights the benefits and challenges of automation to the economy.

This report is part of the Aspen Institute’s Future of Work Initiative, a nonpartisan effort to identify concrete ways to address the challenges American workers and businesses face due to the changing nature of work in the 21st century. The report was launched at an event where experts discussed the issues and opportunities posed by automation’s impact on the labor market, as well as potential policy solutions for the rapidly evolving economy.

The Council commends Autodesk for funding research into the economic challenges that today’s workforce is facing, and for developing constructive strategies for meeting those challenges.
