TD Bank Launches Corporate Citizen Program

NEC Member TD Bank recently announced the launch of its new multi-year corporate citizenship program, ‘Ready Commitment,’ which is aimed at helping individuals and communities prosper.

TD Bank will be targeting $775 million by 2030 towards community giving focused on financial security, vibrant planet, connected communities and better health. The program’s goal is to help people keep pace with change driven by advances in technology, shifts in demographics, climate change and globalization, over the next 10 years. The bank will accomplish this by increasing access to financial opportunities and education, elevating the quality of the environment, bringing people together locally, and supporting equitable health outcomes through innovation.

“While there is enormous opportunity for growth, progress and economic development before us, we know that change can be disruptive and has the potential to increase social and economic exclusion,” said Bharat Masrani, TD Bank Group President and Chief Executive Officer. TD will also align its work with the UN Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.

The New England Council applauds TD Bank’s commitment to community investment and looks forward to the positive results of their generosity. Read more on MediaPost and TD Bank’s website.
