Sunday on DC Dialogue: Spotlight on Local Charities

Tune in this Sunday morning for the latest episode of DC Dialogue.  This month, Kristy Lee, Jim Brett, and John Hailer reflect on some of the significant developments in Washington during 2012, and learn more about two fantastic organizations serving the New England region.

In the first segment, Jim Brett and John Hailer take a look back on some of the developments in Washington over the past year and what they meant for our region, and offer some predictions for what’s to come for the business community in 2013.

The remainder of the show is dedicated to highlighting two outstanding local non-profit organizations and learning more about how the community can support these groups during the holiday season:

  • We first talk with Brig. Gen. (ret) Jack Hammond, Executive Director of the Home Base Program, a partnership between Massachusetts General Hospital and the Red Sox Foundation that provides much-needed services to veterans and their families.
  • And in the final segment, we hear from Joan Wallace-Benjamin, President & CEO of The Home for Little Wanderers, one of the nation’s oldest and most respected children’s and family services organizations.
