Sunday on DC Dialogue: Sequestration & Immigration
Tune in this Sunday morning for the latest episode of DC Dialogue. In this month’s episode, we take a look at the impact of sequestration cuts in our region, and discuss new legislation to expand access to high skilled STEM workers in New England.
In the first segment, Jim Brett and Kristy Lee will discuss the impending sequestration cuts and their impact on the New England economy. Former New Hampshire Senator John E. Sununu, who co-chairs inSPIRE STEM USA, is our guest in the second segment to discuss the “I-Squared” bill, which would address the STEM skills gap in comprehensive immigration reform and provide additional funding for STEM education programs.
