Santander Releases New Digital Business Payments Platform

NEC member Santander Bank recently launched Santander Enterprise Payment Link, a digital platform designed to simplify payment processing for businesses. With this new software, businesses will be able to digitally track check payments to suppliers, customers, and employees, and will also have the capacity to make wire transfers.

Beyond having the ability to initiate transactions online, clients using Santander Enterprise Payment Link will also receive automated emails or texts with updated status information, greatly enhancing visibility surrounding the auditing and reporting process.

Ken Deveaux, Santander’s Managing Director and Head of Transaction banking, said, “We designed Santander Enterprise Payment Link based on conversations with our clients, incorporating their ideas on how best to streamline their payment process. This innovative payments solution allows clients to accelerate moving from costly, error-prone manual to automated processing, to outsource non-core activities such as check printing, and to maximize investments in their treasury workstations and ERP systems.”

The NEC congratulates Santander on the launch of this new tool and commends them on working to adapt to the demands of the increasingly digitized banking industry.
