NEC Member Rockland Trust recently announced the launch of its 2020 Rockland Trust Scholarship Program for High School students entering their first year of college in fall 2020.
The bank will be offering 11 scholarships, of $2,500 each, to students based on academic accomplishment and community service. Students attending high school in Rockland Trust’s servicing areas (including Boston, South Shore, South Coast, Metro North, Metro West, Cape Cod and the Islands) will be eligible for the scholarship. With the bank’s expansion into Worcester, students in the city will be eligible for the first time this year.
“At Rockland Trust, we make a commitment to strengthen the communities in which we work and live,” said Christopher Oddleifson, Chief Executive Officer of Rockland Trust. “The scholarship program is our commitment to the students in our communities, by making the college experience more attainable and assisting them in pursuing their future goals.”
