Robert Sheridan receives Hometown Hero Award at Pawtucket Red Sox Game
The Pawtucket Red Sox recently surprised NEC board member and 2012 New Englander of the Year honoree Bob Sheridan, CEO of SBLI, with their Hometown Hero Award after SBLI donated $4,000 to the Pawtucket Boys & Girls Club. Bob was presented the award following his check presentation to the Pawtucket Boys & Girls Club.
Bob Sheridan explains that he was drawn to the Pawtucket Boys & Girls Club after noticing how dedicated the program is to enhancing the lives of local youth. He added, “SBLI is excited that this donation will directly benefit the young people who take advantage of the wonderful programs offered by the Pawtucket Boys & Girls Club.”
The Pawtucket Red Sox Hometown Hero Award is given to a special individual who has made a difference in the lives of many. Thanks to SBLI’s generous donation to the Pawtucket Boys & Girls Club the program can continue to enhance and make a difference in the lives of local youth.
