Providence College Partners with Barron’s in Education
NEC member Providence College’s School of Business announced a partnership with the Barron’s in Education program from Dow Jones & Co.
The new program will select two or three students to participate in a quarterly phone call with the senior management of Barron’s magazine. Those selected will also have the opportunity to visit the Barron’s office in New York, where they will be able to meet current workers at the company. Barron’s will also take feedback from the students, allowing them to provide their own perspective on the program and their business education.
In a statement, Providence College School of Business Dean Sylvia Maxfield called the partnership a “valuable tool” as the school works to produce “versatile, collaborative and financially strategic leaders for the business of tomorrow.”
The Council is proud to see Providence College furthering its experiential learning opportunities in the world of business. Read more in Providence Business News
