Polar Beverages Develops Line of Hard Seltzer Products

Polar Beverages, an NEC member, has announced that it will partner with Harpoon Brewery to create an alcoholic line of its seltzers. This collaboration comes after the two companies partnered on a UFO Blueberry Lemonade beer last spring.

The new line will be called Arctic Summer, although it will be sold year-round. Four flavors will be available for purchase in late April: Ruby Red Grapefruit, Pineapple Pomelo, Raspberry Lime, and Black Cherry. The base liquid will be made at Harpoon’s Brewery in Boston, and then will be shipped to Polar’s factory in Worcester for carbonation and flavoring.

Dan Kenary, CEO of Harpoon Brewery, said of the owners of Polar Beverages, “I think the world of the Crowley family and the way they run their business. . . We were honored that they wanted to do this with us.”

The New England Council congratulates Polar Beverages on this enduring partnership and for providing the Northeast with even more of the refreshing options that they have become so well known for.
