Northeastern to Host “Innovation Imperative” Discussion
On April 29, 2014, The New England Council is proud to partner with Northeastern University—a Council member—for “Innovation Imperative: Enhancing the Talent Pipeline.” The panel discussion of top business and academic leaders is part of the university’s Innovation Imperative Series WGBH is also a co-sponsor event.
The Innovation Imperative series seeks to examine the role of higher education and workforce preparedness. The April 29 event will coincide with the release of Northeastern’s new survey entitled “Enhancing the Talent Pipeline” which aims to shed light on the viewpoint of business executives on a range of topics including: outcomes of higher education, gap of skills by employees, reform in current policy, investment in the workforce, and ability to compete internationally. A panel, moderated by Kara Miller, host of WGBH’s “Innovation Hub,” will discuss the surveys findings. Panelists include:
