Massachusetts Fallen Heroes was founded in 2010 to create a “permanent public tribute” to those who have fallen serving in the War on Terrorism. MA Fallen Heroes unveiled their public tribute on October 3, 2014, in the Seaport District of Boston. Their work continues with community events to honor those who have served.
Since their start in 2010, MA Fallen Heroes continues to grow and expand its influence throughout the state. According to their website, “Massachusetts Fallen Heroes has evolved from a charity strictly geared towards building a tribute honoring fallen heroes into a multifaceted organization. Massachusetts Fallen Heroes now also acts as a liaison in acquiring educational, employment, medical, legal, financial and numerous additional services to local military veterans, their families and families of the fallen. Massachusetts Fallen Heroes holds a series of events throughout the year honoring those who have served and especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.”
Massachusetts Fallen Heroes is led by President Greg Kelly and Executive Director Dan Magoon. The New England Council welcomes Massachusetts Fallen Heroes to our organization and looks forward to their active participation in the Council.
