New Member Spotlight: Gateway Public Solutions

Located in the heart of downtown Boston, Gateway Public Solutions is a full-service government relations and public affairs firm. The firm “specializes in helping businesses and non-profits partner with federal, state, and local government to reach their goals, and can position your organization to succeed at the crossroads of the public and private sectors.”

Gateway Public Solutions helps its clients to develop and execute winning strategies in government relations, public affairs, and business development. Gateway understands that oftentimes these arenas overlap, which is why clients work with one principal every step of the way. The firm guides clients to success by helping them to “identify public sector goals, target potential funding opportunities, navigate legislative and administrative processes at all levels, and connect with the agencies and staff crucial to achieving their objectives.”

GPS was founded by Marty Walsh, a New England native with more than 20 years business, policy, and political experience. Before starting the firm, Walsh served as Director of the Massachusetts Office of Business Development under Governor Deval Patrick. He also spent several years as a legislative assistant to Massachusetts Senator Edward Kennedy, coordinating the Senator’s agenda on a variety of domestic issues. Throughout his career, Walsh has worked on and led political campaigns at the state, local, and national levels. Walsh and his colleagues put this wide-ranging and in-depth experience to use to help clients effectively interact with government and the public.

The New England Council is excited to welcome Gateway Public Solutions and looks forward to their active participation in our events and activities.
