New England Council Members Ranked on World University List
Thirteen New England Council members were ranked by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy as a part of the 2015 Academic Ranking of World Universities, a list that ranks to top 500 universities in the world. Each year Shanghai Ranking evaluates world universities based on: quality of education, quality of faculty, research output, and per capita performance. The evaluations are then compiled into the Academic Ranking of World Universities.
Among the top 100 on the list are Harvard University (#1), Boston University (#73), and Brown University (#75). Other members who were ranked include: Tufts University, University of Massachusetts – Amherst, University of Massachusetts Medical School – Worcester, Dartmouth College, Northeastern University, Drexel University, University of Connecticut, University of New Hampshire – Durham, and University of Rhode Island.
The New England Council congratulates these universities on their global accomplishments and ranking on this prestigious list.
