NEC member Nelson Mullins recently announced the formation of a new Defense Industry Sector Practice. The firm has many clients involved in the defense and government services industry who will benefit from this new practice group.
The team includes attorneys who focus on a variety of issues, including federal acquisition regulations, export trade controls, and procurement involving US statues. Members include former members of Congress, former ambassadors, and former members of the military, as well as attorneys well-connected to the Republican and Democratic parties. The group will be led by Joseph Donovan, a policy advisor in the Boston, MA office, and Buzz Burwell, a partner in the Greenville, SC office. Mr. Donovan also serves as the co-chair of the New England Council’s Defense Working Group.
“Companies, large and small, face increasing cost pressures and complexities in the defense industry. These businesses understand that being successful in this competitive marketplace requires additions legal and government relations strategies to achieve their business goals,” said Mr. Donovan.
The New England Council congratulates Nelson Mullins on this new group and commends the firm’s commitment to serving our region’s defense industry.
