NEC Statement on George Floyd & Racial Equality

Today, The New England Council released the following statement:

“The New England Council is deeply saddened by the death of George Floyd and the resulting unrest across the nation. It is a reminder for all of us that for as much progress as we have made in our country toward equality, there is still much work to be done.  Racism is counter to the very principles our nation was founded on, and it simply cannot be tolerated.  The Council stands committed to working with government, business, and community leaders throughout our region toward equality and economic opportunity for all.”
