NEC Launches “Capital Conversations” Washington Event Series

New DC Event Series to kick off May 15 with Rep. William Keating

The New England Council is pleased to announce the launch of a new event series in Washington, DC.  “Capital Conversations” will feature breakfast forums with members of Congress, and on occasion, other federal policy makers.  Similar to our Congressional Roundtable series in New England, the goal of our Capital Conversations events is to provide our members with the opportunity to hear from our region’s Congressional leaders about their priorities and their work in Washington in a smaller forum conducive to questions and conversation.

Save the Date – May 15, 2013 – Rep. William Keating
Our first Capital Conversations breakfast will feature remarks from Representative William Keating (D-MA).  The inaugural event in this  series will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m.  NEC member Nelson Mullins will host the breakfast at their Washington, DC, office located at 101 Constitution Avenue, NW.  Watch for a formal invitation and registration details in the coming weeks.
