Mohegan Sun Parent Company Names New COO

Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE), the parent company for NEC member Mohegan Sun, recently announced the appointment of Jody Madigan as its new Chief Operating Officer.

Madigan, who previously served asthe general manager at the Paragon Casino Resort, will lead strategic business planning and will report to CEO Ray Pineault. Mohegan Sun is a resort casino operated by the Mohegan Tribe on reservation land in Uncasville, CT.

In announcing the new hire, Pineault said, “With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and casino gaming industry, Jody’s leadership and expertise will contribute to MGE’s continued growth and success.” The company is currently trying to expand and are looking to open new casinos in Greece and Japan.
