MassDevelopment Awards $500,000 to 11 Community Health Centers
NEC member MassDevelopment recently awarded nearly $500,000 in grants to 11 Massachusetts community health centers for capital improvement projects.
MassDevelopment provided the grants to community health centers in Springfield, Mashpee, Boston, Worcester, Methuen, Worthington, Holyoke and Lowell. The community health centers will use the grants on various projects, including constructing new exam rooms, installing new video-conferencing equipment, installing new medical technology, and launching a middle school ‘health and wellness’ initiative.
The New England Council thanks MassDevelopment for granting these funds to essential capital improvement projects that will help these community health centers create new jobs and improve the quality of care provided to Massachusetts communities. Read more in WWLP-22 News and Lowell Sun.
