Massachusetts Health Council to host Women’s Health Conference
The Massachusetts Health Council, a New England Council member, will host “Getting Healthy, Staying Healthy: Knowledge is Everything,” its 5th biennial Women’s Health Conference, on April 16, 2015. Registration for tickets and sponsorship for the day-long conference is open and available to Massachusetts Health Council members and non-members.
Massachusetts Health Council is a non-profit, non-partisan organization of more than 150 governmental and voluntary agencies, consumer and advocacy groups, professional societies, and private corporations committed to improving and protecting the health of the residents of the Commonwealth. This important conference will address crucial women’s issues, including dealing with critical social, economic and health issues that affect women of all ages and walks of life.
Throughout the day, more than 10 different experts will present on various topics within women’s health, including domestic violence, heart health, the latest cancer screening and treatment, equal pay for equal work, and maintaining work-life balance. The speakers include a number of women Presidents, CEOs, medical directors, doctors and others from establishments throughout Massachusetts.
The New England Council applauds the Massachusetts Health Council for promoting women’s health in our region and encourages members and others to take advantage of this valuable opportunity.
