Liberty Mutual Insurance Receives Pro Patria Award in Honor of Its Support

NEC member Liberty Mutual was recently honored with the Massachusetts Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Pro Patria Award in the Large Business Category. The award was presented by Earl Bonnett, Chair of the Massachusetts Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, and Francis Magurn, Brigadier General (Ret.) of the Massachusetts National Guard.

The Pro Patria Award is the highest honor bestowed by an ESGR State committee. The award recognizes a company’s extraordinary support for its Guard and Reserve employees through leadership, practices, and policies that enable employees to simultaneously manage a full-time civilian job and service to the United States.

Liberty Mutual Chairman and CEO David H. Long said, “It is an incredible honor to receive this recognition from the Massachusetts ESGR. Through the work they do in the office and in service of our country, our veteran and military service member employees truly embody Liberty’s purpose of giving people the security to embrace today and confidently pursue tomorrow.”

The New England Council congratulates Liberty Mutual for receiving this award and commends their extraordinary level of support for its Guard and Reserve employees. Read more on the Liberty Mutual Website.
