John Hancock Streamlines Life Insurance Purchase Process

Council member John Hancock has announced a new partnership with data company Clareto to improve the insurer’s speed in processing new life insurance policies.

The collaboration will allow John Hancock to, in real time, access the relevant health history documents for new clients. Using Clareto’s network, the insurance company can access this data through approved channels to underwrite new policies, shortening the application process for new customers and simplifying the experience of purchasing a life insurance plan.

This kind of collaboration has the potential to shape the future of the industry.”
