JetBlue Airways to Partner with airberlin to Expand Options for Customers

NEC member JetBlue Airways has joined forces with airberlin to offer more transfer options for customers in the United States.

Beginning on September 12, 2017, customers flying to New York (JFK), Boston Logan (BOS), or Orlando (MCO) from Berlin or Dusseldorf on airberlin will have the option to seamlessly transfer to a JetBlue flight that will take them to one of over 20 locations in North America. It is expected that the cooperation between the two companies will soon include a frequent flyer program.

“We are delighted that we have a new, strong partner at our side with JetBlue, in the important growth market in the USA. This is only the beginning of our co-operation. Together, we are working to extend our partnership in the coming months”, says Götz Ahmelmann, Chief Commercial Officer of airberlin.

The New England Council congratulates the airlines on their new partnership and increased options for customers. Read more on ABC News and in the press release.
