JetBlue Adds Route in Hartford

NEC member JetBlue has recently announced they will begin non-stop flights from Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Hartford to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) in Washington, DC.

Flights will begin Thursday, June 19, twice-daily with the first flight leaving Bradley Airport at 6:24 a.m. to arrive in Reagan Airport about an hour later. NEC members American Airlines and US Airways also offer non-stop service from Bradley to Reagan. This newly added flight route to DCA is part of JetBlue’s larger expansion into DC airport as result of acquiring more slots at Regan Airport.

“Despite our relatively small presence at DCA, JetBlue has truly disrupted the market with fair fares and a better experience for travelers. We look forward to bringing the positive benefits of nonstop JetBlue service from Washington to Hartford, and Nassau, with more new destinations to come later this year,” said Robin Hayes, JetBlue’s president.

The New England Council thanks JetBlue for their commitment expanding their flight routes throughout New England.
