All Mission Gratitude event proceeds will directly fund the Home Base Program, which is one of the nation’s only private sector clinics dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of our soldiers. The clinic is dedicated to researching, brining awareness to, and treating the psychological wounds that have followed many veterans home from Iraq and Afghanistan. The program helps veterans and their families recover from Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and other personal stress and anxiety caused by war. It provides care regardless of a soldier’s discharge or insurance status and offers free support to all members of military families. The Home Base clinic, founded in 2009 and located at Mass General, has already served more than 1,000 veterans and their loved ones.
Hospitality and sponsorship opportunities are still available for the event, which will be held at Boston Symphony Hall. Corporate sponsorship is available at various levels and can be explored more on the Mission Gratitude website. Individual tickets and tables are also available.
The New England Council is proud to support the Home Base Program and thanks Council members Mass General Hospital and The Red Sox Foundation for their continued dedication to supporting our heroic troops and their families.
