On Friday, April 29, The New England Council was honored to welcome Dr. Howard Koh, the Assistant Secretary for Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), back to Boston for a special breakfast event. Over 70 New England Council members representing all sectors of the health care industry in New England, were in attendance. Dr. Koh is a native New Englander who served as the Massachusetts Commissioner of Public Health from 1997-2003. Dr. Koh briefed members on the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
