First “New England Innovates” Forum to Focus on Healthcare

Please join The New England Council for the first event in our “New England Innovates” series–periodic forums that will explore challenges and opportunities for the region’s  thriving innovation economy.

Our first event will highlight how New England businesses and organizations are breaking ground in healthcare innovation. The forum will feature a panel of NEC members who will highlight their own innovations and discuss how New England can continue to maintain its edge as a global healthcare innovation hub.  NEC Healthcare Committee Co-Chairs Joe Alviani of Partners Healthcare and Laurel Sweeney of Philips Healthcare will co-moderate the discussion.

Panelists Include:

  • Dr. Alexandra Goncalves, MD, PhD, MMSc, Senior Medical Director, Cardiology Ultrasound, Philips Healthcare
  • Dr. Joseph Kveder, MD, Vice President, Connected Health at Partners HealthCare

The forum will take place on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at the Paul S. Russell Museum of Medical History and Innovation at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
