Fasken to Become Team Canada’s First-Ever Legal Services Partner

Council member Fasken will become Team Canada’s first legal services partner as the sports community and industry faces the fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fasken is one of the largest law firms in Canada.

The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) formed the partnership with Fasken to provide legal services and consultation to members of Team Canada, as well as all Canadian national teams. The partnership aims to also begin the process of developing solutions for the sporting community in Canada with other COC partners. Fasken will now add Team Canada to their existing partnership with the Canadian Paralympic Committee

“Fasken shares Team Canada’s values of respect for people, fairness, excellence and high ethical standards,” said Peter Feldberg, Managing Partner at Fasken. “Team Canada reminds us that when we work collaboratively with purpose we positively impact our business, our workplace culture and our communities.”

The Council commends Fasken for its pioneering relationship with Team Canada and wishes them much success in this new partnership. Read more.
