Entergy Named by Black Enterprise as One of 50 Best Companies for Diversity
NEC Member Entergy has been listed as one the 50 Best Companies for Diversity by Black Enterprise for the fourth consecutive year.
Black Enterprise began publishing the list in 2005, recognizing companies that champion professional inclusion from all races and demographic groups. Those who make the list realize the link between diversity and engagement by demonstrating the best practices in areas of senior management, board of directors, supplier diversity, and employee base.
“It is an honor to be recognized for our ongoing efforts to create and maintain a diverse and inclusive workplace,” said Andrea Coughlin Rowley, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Diversity Officer at Entergy. Rowley added that through effective teamwork and inclusion, every employee has “an opportunity to contribute in significant ways to the success of our company and to grow and develop while doing so.”
The New England Council congratulates Entergy on this recognition and commends the company’s ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion. Read more on Entergy’s website.
