DONG Energy Opens North American Headquarters in Boston
NEC member DONG Energy recently opened its North American headquarters in downtown Boston.
The new headquarters is located in the Financial District of downtown Boston at One International Place, an LEED Silver certified building that is sustainably operated and energy efficient. The Danish-based company has been expanding its presence in the New England region and previously announced a partnership with fellow NEC member Eversource to develop Bay State Wind, a wind farm with a potential capacity of 2,000 megawatts.
“With 21 successful utility-scale projects around the globe, we look forward to bringing our expertise to Massachusetts to help the Commonwealth become the nation’s leader in offshore wind,” said DONG’s North American Manager, Thomas Brostrom.
The New England Council congratulates DONG Energy on the opening of its new North American headquarters and looks forward to the company’s continued growth throughout the New England region. Read more in MassLive and Renewables Now.
