Consolidated Communications Boosting Internet Speeds in Nashua, NH

Consolidated Communications, a New England Council member, announced that the company will launch 1 Gig broadband services to over 12,000 residents and small businesses in Nashua, NH. Consolidated Communications provides broadband and business communications to over 23 states, including New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Massachusetts.

The upgraded service is provided through the company’s new Fiber-to-the-Premises technology and, overall, is expected to significantly improve Nashua’s broadband speeds and on-demand abilities. Residents and business owners alike will now avoid buffering wait times, as Fiber will offer faster, more reliable connectivity capable of supporting multiple devices. The improvement will give residents the higher speeds needed to stream high quality videos or virtual reality, as well as give businesses more efficient access to the cloud. Residential and small business customers can check online to see if Consolidated Communications Gigabit broadband services are available at their address.

“1 Gig broadband Internet access will deliver a wider selection of services and programming and also has the potential to transform the quality of Nashua residents’ lives,” said Rob Koester, Vice President of Consumer Product Management at Consolidated Communications.  He added, “We’re thrilled to deliver all of these benefits and more by improving the broadband experience for this community.”

The Council commends Consolidated Communications on their commitment to providing high speed internet access to residents and businesses in the region.
