The Council is seeking submissions from our members – both educational institutions and employers – to include in the third edition of the directory, which will be released this fall. Council members are invited to share information on various partnership programs, including experiential learning opportunities (i.e. internships, apprenticeships), mentoring programs, and curriculum development and coordination initiatives. Of particular interest are programs focused on:
While the first two editions of the directory focused on partnerships between employers and higher education institutions, we recognize that many employers are beginning to engage with students at an earlier stage in their education. As such, we are expanding the directory to also include partnerships with K-12 educational partners.
Once the updated directory is completed, it will be shared with our entire membership, as well as the New England Congressional delegation and other policymakers and stakeholders. We hope that the directory will continue to be a useful resource and will encourage employers and educational institutions to continue to pursue and expand partnership initiatives that develop our region’s talent pipeline.
Please note that submissions are due by August 1, 2019, and we welcome multiple submissions from one organization. Please contact Taylor Pichette at tpichette@newenglandcouncil.com or 202-547-0048 if you have any questions.
