Great Events On Tap For April

We have a great lineup events all over New England during the month of April.  We’ll start the month with a Congressional Roundtable Breakfast with newly-elected Congressman David Cicilline on April 4.  Representing Rhode Island’s 1st Congressional District, the former Mayor of Providence will speak at the Biltmore Hotel.

On April 13, we have a very special treat as Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Ken Burns will be speaking at Bank of America in Boston.  Throughout his career, Burns has made a number of acclaimed documentaries, including The War, Baseball, Mark Twain and The National Parks: America’s Best Idea.  Burns will discuss several of his recent projects, and will give us a sneak preview of his latest film, Prohibition.

We’ll wrap up the month in Hartford, where we’ll be partnering with our friends at the MetroHartford Alliance to host a breakfast with Congressman Jim Himes on the 21st.  Congressman Himes, who represents Connecticut’s 4th Congressional District, will speak at the Hartford Club.

As always, these events are free of charge for NEC members.  Email us at to register.
