Bedford Village Inn Completes Extensive Renovation

The Bedford Village Inn, a Council member, has completed a comprehensive renovation and expansion. The project included the enlargement of the kitchen, the restructuring of the Tavern, and the addition of an Americans With Disabilities Act-compliant ramp and bathroom.

Since taking over the Bedford Village Inn in 1989, Jack and Andrea Carnevale have worked to make the inn a center of activity in the community. Not only does the facility host about 150 weddings each year, but it is also a hub of the political industry and regularly hosts The New England Council’s Congressional Roundtable and Politics & Eggs events. Having added an additional 50 guest rooms in 2016, the Carnevales decided to double the size of their kitchen and upgrade its equipment, and to create a new atmosphere in the Tavern with vaulted ceilings.

Jack Carnevale said that, “We decided to do this work pretty much the first of last year. We just came to the conclusion that this kitchen is not working for us. It’s too small; it’s not good for our employees to work in such a cramped space. Dealing with equipment that wasn’t up to par and didn’t service the volume we’re doing right now. So, we made a commitment to change everything.”

The New England Council is proud to partner the Bedford Village Inn, and congratulates it for making these spectacular upgrades.
