Becker College Ranked No. 2 for Game Design Worldwide
Council member Becker College has moved up in worldwide rankings and was recently named the number two undergraduate school for game design programs.
The list, published by the Princeton Review, advanced Becker into second place from its previously-held third, only behind the University of Southern California, which has held the top spot for the past three years. Aside from its successful and lauded undergraduate programs in game design, Becker was similarly ranked 10th in the world for its graduate degree in interactive media. The rankings are compiled using metrics such as academics, faculty, technology, and career readiness.
“Much of the success of our game program is due to Becker’s unique merging of the creative, the technical, and the business side of interactive media,” said Paul Cotnoir, director of design programs at Becker.
The New England Council commends Becker College on its continuing improvements in the worlds of design and education at large. The Worcester Business Journal has more.
