Bank of America Awards $200,000 to Nonprofit City Year Providence

Bank of America, an NEC member, recently awarded $200,000 through the BofA Neighborhood Builders program to the nonprofit organization City Year Providence.

Bank of America’s Neighborhood Builders program awards grants and leadership development to nonprofits working to better their local communities by addressing issues relating to economic mobility in that community. City Year Providence is an organization that pairs with school districts in Providence to place AmeriCorps members to work with children at-risk of dropping out. Bank of America’s grant will help the nonprofit improve and expand services to students in need in the Providence area.

The New England Council thanks Bank of America for its continued commitment to improving communities in the New England area. Read more about the program at Bank of America’s website and in Providence Business News.
