The New England Council is pleased to be a Supporting Partner of the Massachusetts Export Center‘s upcoming Export Expo. The day-long event will be held on Friday, December 8, at the State Transportation Building in Boston, and NEC members are invited to attend.
The Massachusetts Export Expo is the state’s largest and most important export event of the year that brings together resources, training and information for the local exporting community. Rich Ashooh, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Export Administration, will deliver keynote remarks. Other featured speakers include Peter Cazamias, Associate Administrator for International Trade at the U.S. Small Business Administration and Christina Sevilla, Deputy Assistant U.S. Trade Representative.
This year’s event will focus on uncertainty in the current global trade landscape, including possible shifts in U.S. trade policy. Hot-button issues such as NAFTA renegotiation, free trade policy, export controls, sanctions and more will be addressed, with a focus on helping companies to navigate a dynamic and increasingly complex global trade climate.
