Scrolling through news feed on mobile.

NEC member Ascentria Care Alliance (ACA), a Worcester, MA-based human services organization, recently added three new board members. All three are Worcester residents, reflecting the organization’s commitment to increased representation of its home city among its leadership.

All three new board members have deep ties to the Worcester community, and they each bring unique expertise and experience in building community-centered health and equity. The new board members are:

  • Jeroan Allison, MD, Professor and Chair of the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Medical School
  • Stacey Luster, JD, General Counsel and Assistant to the President for Employment and Equal Opportunity at Worcester State University
  • Sherri Pitcher, Senior Vice President and Chief LifeDesign Officer at Fidelity Bank in Leominster, MA.

Angela Bovill, CEO and President of Ascentria Care Alliance, welcomed these additions to the Board of Directors, saying, “Each will bring meaningful experiences which will help us to better collaborate with partners as Ascentria continues to focus on the intersection of social services and the areas of healthcare, education, and workforce development.”

The New England Council congratulates Ascentria Care Alliance on welcoming these accomplished new members to the organization’s Board of Directors. Read more from the ACA press release.
