American Red Cross in Need of Blood Donors, Donations Sites

During these uncertain times, many blood drives scheduled to maintain the steady stream of blood donations for patients in need have been cancelled. The American Red Cross of Massachusetts, a member of The New England Council, is putting out an urgent call for blood donations from individuals throughout New England who are healthy and able.

The American Red Cross is closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19, and they have outlined all precautions taken, including pre-screenings and sanitation measures, on their website here.

With almost 200 blood drives postponed and cancelled in Massachusetts alone, the need for organized drives is great. If you or your company are interested in hosting a blood drive, click here.

The New England Council would like to recognize the work of the American Red Cross of Massachusetts during this time, as well as all of our members working to combat this pandemic.
