Ameresco Increases Capacity with Maximum Solar Acquisition

Ameresco, a member of The New England Council, reported that it has purchased Maximum Solar, a solar firm headquartered in Acton, MA. With this acquisition, Ameresco will enhance its operations and maintenance services to owners of commercial solar facilities.

In buying Maximum Solar, Ameresco, which specializes in renewable energy, will expand its capacity to commercial-scale solar projects. Maximum Solar provides operations and management contracts, remote monitoring, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance to its customers. These new capabilities will support Ameresco’s upcoming projects with municipalities and developers.

Pete Christakis, Vice President Construction & Operations of Ameresco, said, “A well-designed and properly executed maintenance program can be a crucial element to long-term energy system performance and production.”

The New England Council congratulates Ameresco on this development and its ongoing efforts to pursue energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
